Our Lumei is only using high quality raw materials. The elements are based on profiles and high quality fittings. The profiles are of a special tropical formulation with a high concentration of Titanium Dioxide (TiO2), which prevent decolourisation due to UV radiation. The Glass is high quality thermal glass. Gaskets are of Neoprene (EPDM) a thermally stable elastomer, totally resistant to UV radiation and the tropical climate in the Middle East. Actually, UPVC patio doors have superb insulation qualities and can stand up to the worst of the weather with ease. UPVC patio doors are fitted with tough & durable neoprene or butyl gasket seals all around the installation. Windproof brush seals can also be seen around the frames where the doors meet. And the doors fit into channels within the outer frame to create an even tighter weather seal. The standard UPVC patio door comes fitted with 19mm to 28mm double glazed unit that provides great thermal insulation. The energy saving performance can be further enhanced by using Argon gas filled sealed units and / or Low emissivity (low-e) solar glass. Safety & Security: Protecting your home & family. Toughened, tempered safety glass - hard to break glass makes it harder for an intruder and safer for the family to be around on a daily basis in case of accidental breakage. Internally glazed panels - the glass is fitted from the inside and held into place by window beads. Having internally glazed doors stops a "would-be-intruder" removing it in order to break in. Anti-lift tracks for sliding & folding doors - this stops the doors from being levered out of the frame once closed. Multi-point locks - this feature engages hooks all around the door into the surrounding frame. Once operated, the door stays firmly locked solid. |
